October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month
Knowing the signs of abuse and acting in a helpful manner can save a person's life. Millions of women, yearly, are physically abused by their partners and thirty percent will die at the hands of their vicious attackers. Knowing the signs will allow you to break the silence and give a victim a way out of an abusive relationship.
