transportation.
WOMEN'S
SUPPORT GROUP
A facilitated self-help for women affected by domestic
violence. Group offers a
chance for victims to be with other women who have been abused, and with
whom they may have a lot in common. It
has helped many women feel less isolated, get good information, and
develop a safety plan. Provides
mutual support and understanding.
ADVOCACY
Advocates assist victims in obtaining orders of protection,
pressing charges, and working with the police.
We also help in obtaining emergency assistance from the Department of
Social Services, the Crime Victim’s Board, and other community programs.
Renewal House’s legal advocate acts as a liaison between the victim and
the criminal justice system.

and have fun. Individual
counseling, mentoring, and child recreation is also provided.
